On the October Event, Apple released the new 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pros. This is a closer look.
14" MacBook Pro Specs
The new 14 Inch MacBooks come in Silver and SpaceGrey. The 14" starts at 1999 Dollars. It comes with the M1Pro or M1Max Chip. The device has a Liquid Retina Display like the iPhone 11 and SE. The display has XDR in a 3024x1964 aspect ratio with a native resoloution at 254 ppi and it is 14.2" big. The XDR has 1000 nits sustained and 1600 nits peak brightness and a 1000000:1 contrast ratio. The display can display P3 colors (1 billion colors) and has TrueTone. The display finally has 120hz with ProMotion and you can set use 6 Presets. The MacBook has up to 64 Gigs of RAM. It has a MagSafe again, but still can charge over USB-C. The SSD is the same, but we have no data about the SSD. There are now more ports again. An SDXC slot, HDMI, 3.5mm Headphonejack and three THUNDERBOLT 4 Port. The output on HDMI on 4k res at 60fps and the USB-C outputs 8k with 120fps. The MacBook has the same Keyboard as the external iMac Keyboard, TouchID and ForceTouch trackpad we saw on the last generation. It has Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. It has a 1080p HD Facetime camera. It has a HiFi six speaker soundsystem with forcecancelling subwoofers. and wide stereo sound and spatial audio. It has also threemics for Pro Studio quality. It has .61" height, 8.71 depth, 12.31 width ratio with 3.5lb.
16" MacBook Pro Specs
The new 16 Inch MacBooks come in Silver and SpaceGrey. The 16" starts at 1499 Dollars. It comes with the M1Pro or M1Max Chip. The device has a Liquid Retina Display like the iPhone 11 and SE. The display has XDR in a 3456x2234 aspect ratio with a native resoloution at 254 ppi and it is 14.2" big. The XDR has 1000 nits sustained and 1600 nits peak brightness and a 1000000:1 contrast ratio. The MacBooks have a new design as they are a new generation. After the very rounded design of the touchbar generation was swapped out for the boxyness of the notchgeneration. Ith features a simmilar design as the plainwhite generation. The Notch on the front in the display does not disturb the display as much as i thought. Especially in darkmode, it looks pretty good and helps, because the statusbar is not in the way of the content.
