M1 Max has a way more powerful 32 core GPU giving it better graphics performance than M1 and M1 Pro. It features 64 GB of unified memory , meaning it is RAM and VRAM in one. The Silicon has 400 GB/s bandwith, meaning it has a really good speed. The chip is made in 5nm process and features 57 billion transistors. The chip has a 16 core Neural Engine for 11 Trillion operations/s for complex machine learning tasks. The M1 Max has the same Thunderbolt 4 controller as the M1 Pro and features. The Silicon can support up to four externals display. The M1 Max has the best performance per watt, which is a clear advantage.
